三明治 (sān míng zhì)

I'm still at a low enough level that almost everything is a new word. I know some food words but the day before yesterday was Chinese study day and I realized I didn't know "sandwich" so I looked it up and hope to memorize it. Eating a SANd which in the Meiji period! History helps! haha
